Ima Jo Arnold

Ima Jo Arnold was born March 1, 1938 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Richard and Clara Mae Harris.

She was united in marriage to Carmon Arnold on October 6, 1956. Mr. Arnold preceded her in death on April 22, 2019.

Mrs. Arnold worked at Brown Shoe Company, Reitter & Schfenaker and Jack McConnico Library. She was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. 

An avid reader, enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetables, and loved her dogs. She also loved a good pot or two of coffee enjoying it with half coffee and half milk. 

Mrs. Arnold departed this life on March 24, 2024 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 23 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Greene and husband Mike of Selmer, TN, Kay Tillman and husband James of Memphis, TN; a son, Don Arnold and fiance Daisy Arnold of Selmer, TN; sister, Marie Adkins of Jackson, TN; brother, Frank Harris and companion Vicky Hurst of Selmer, TN;

four grandchildren, Brynn Forsyth and husband Adam, Chrissy Ferguson and husband Ryan, Melissa Cheshier, Victoria Cheshier; four great grandchildren, Madison Forsyth, Kayden Forsyth, Wesley Ferguson, Jace Ferguson; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by brother, Michael Harris.
