Imogene Balentine

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Collinwood Church of God in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine and Keith Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Mrs. Imogene Balentine departed this life on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 3 Months, 11 Days. She was born December 4, 1934 in Huntington, Tennessee the daughter of the late Eugene Bell and Anna Gaskins Bell Crook. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Balentine was preceded in death by husband; James Edwin Balentine.



Mrs. Balentine was a homemaker and a member of the Creekside Church of Christ .



She is survived by four sons, Carl Balentine and wife Sandy of Athens, AL, Randall Balentine and wife Kay of Waynesboro, TN, Edwin Balentine and wife Janice of Cypress Inn, TN, Reggie Balentine and wife Lisa of Killen, AL;

three daughters, Patsy Balentine of Florence, AL, Connie Staggs and husband Joseph of Florence, AL, Dottie Hensley and husband Stan of Collinwood, TN; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren brother, Bob Bell of Ocala, Fl; several nieces and nephews
