Imogene Spencer

Mrs. Imogene Henley Spencer, age 78 of Walnut, Mississippi, departed this life Tuesday morning, April 10, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.



She was born in Hardeman County on December 5, 1933 to the late Henry C. and Mary Lucille Russell Bass. She was united in marriage to Louis McNeely Henly, who passed away December 4, 1974. She was then married to James Spencer, who also preceded her in death. Having lived all of her life in the Hardeman County and Walnut areas, she worked as a homemaker and was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Chalybeate, Mississippi.



She is survived by a son, Mack Ray Henley and wife Patricia of Whiteville. In addition to her husband, former husband, and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Richard J. Henley, three daughters, Shirley Dean Bedwell, Martha Jean Henley and Mary Jane Henley; and two sisters, Pearline Gates and Vadine Wilbanks.
