Inetha Turner Haggard

Laura Inetha Turner Haggard departed this life on April 15, 2011 at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 21 days at Selmer, Tennessee.



Mrs. Haggard was born on January 25, 1924 in Henderson, TN, the daughter of the late William Isham Walter Hunter and Cora Colston Hunter.



She was united in marriage to Eugene Albert Turner, Sr. who preceded her in death on November 26, 1982, and years later munited in marriage to Don B. Haggard who preceded her in death on November 6, 2005.



She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, TN, and the Good Sams Camping Club. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed sewing and quilting, baking pies, flower and vegetable gardening and singing, especially hymns. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.



In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Lynn Turner, an infant daughter, Annie Jo Turner, a granddaughter, Laura Turner Barnes, and three brothers, Roy Hunter, Thomas Edward Hunter and William Bernice Hunter.



Mrs. Haggard is survived by one daughter, Tammie Turner Jaggars and husband, David, of Selmer, TN, five sons, Eugene A. Turner, Jr. of Nashville, TN, William L. Turner and wife, Maggie, of Milton, FL, Tommy R. Turner, Gerald W. Turner and wife, Janice, and Guy H. Turner and wife Wanda, all of Selmer, TN. She is also survived by two sisters, Willie Mae Hailey and Lois Morris, both of Henderson TN, as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
