Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 26, 1931 the daughter of the late Lonnie Elmer and Lantie Rinks Caperton.
Miss Caperton worked for Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She departed this life on July 16, 2006 at Savannah Healthcare at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 20 days.
Miss Caperton is survived by 4 sisters, Barbara Easley, Shelby Higgins, Patsy Prince and Lena Blount, all of Savannah.
2 brothers, Wesley and Douglas Caperton, both of Savannah.
Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews
Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, William Robert (Burr) Caperton and Elmer Junior Caperton and 2 sisters, Hautie Elizabeth Fielder and Louise Blount.
