Mrs. Inez George, age 88 of Middleton, Tennessee passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. George was born in Corinth, Mississippi June 29, 1925 to the late Ben F. and Ella Taylor Wood. On June 17, 1944 she was united in marriage to Mr. Clarence George, who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Middleton Church of Christ. She loved to visit the elderly and shut-in and volunteered at a cerebral palsy center when she lived in Alabama. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who, according to her family, gave good hugs.
In addition to her husband of 70 years, survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Wardlow and husband Danny of Counce, Tennessee, Vicky Routh of Bolivar, Missouri, and Karen Howard of Panama City Beach, Florida; a son, David George and wife Carolyn of Bolivar, Tennessee; a sister, Mildred Dugan of Grenada, Mississippi; ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings except one.
