Inis Cunningham

Inis (Tootsie) Cunningham was born February 17, 1922 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Wesley Cunningham, Sr. and Daisy Myrtle Davis Cunningham.Miss Cunningham was a retired lab technician with the University of Tennessee at Memphis. She was a member of the Lorraine Baptist Church in Guys, Tennessee. She was a wonderful seamstress and fantastic cook. She had many interests and hobbies, she attended art school, cosmetology school at Blue Mountain and real estate school. She enjoyed spending time and talking with her family and friends.Miss Cunningham departed this life on August 12, 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days. She is survived by two sisters, Joyce (Cunningham) Pratt and husband Ray of Southaven, MS, Jo Glisson of Tupelo, MS; caregivers, Jean and Wade Givens of Ripley, MS; host of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Miss Cunningham was preceded in death by a sister, Hester (Cunningham) Coln and husband Ellison; two brothers, Cecil Monroe Cunningham, James Wesley Cunningham Jr. and wife Martha; brother-in-law, Johnny Glisson.
