Irene Mitchell Jarrett

Irene Mitchell Jarrett departed this life on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 27 days. She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Porter and Josie Talley Mitchell.

Irene retired from Savannah Manufacturing and was a member of Bible Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved flowers, enjoyed reading her Bible, and praying for her family.

Irene is survived by her children, Douglas Wayne Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee, Harold Ray Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee, Lovell "Lovie" Jarrett of Crump, Tennessee, and Ronnie Wayne Jarrett of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Mark Douglas Jarrett, Jonathan Wesley Jarrett, Rachel Danielle Jarrett, Matthew Stephen Jarrett, Shannon Jarrett, Amy Denise Myrick, Justin Jarrett, Jesse Jarrett, Misty Renee McLain, Scotty Dewayne McLain, Brandy Sheree McLain, Teddy Ray Jarrett, Donna Sue Abrams, Phillip Gene Tilley, Jeannie Louise Kennedy, James Paul Tilley, Chasity Nicole Talley, and Kelsie Quay Jarrett; and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Sue Jarrett; grandchildren, Joshua Eric Jarrett and Christian Scott Shoemake; brothers, Joe Mitchell and JP Mitchell; and sisters, Peggy Chessor and Charlene Jones.
