Irene Phillips

Irene Phillips was born June 27, 1927 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Ervin and Della Richards Bell.She was united in marriage to Willie D. Phillips who preceded her in death on February 5, 2003.Mrs. Phillips was a retired inspector at Brown Shoe Company with 41 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.Mrs. Phillips departed this life on July 27, 2010 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 29 Days.She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Rich and husband Roy of Adamsville, TN; a son, Stacy Phillips and wife Sheryl of Adamsville, TN; four grandchildren, Gregory Rich, Cassie Phillips, Cody Phillips, Hayden Phillips; two great grandchildren, Victoria Rich, Julia Rich; two sisters, Ilene Younger of Adamsville, TN, Maxine Alexander of Rolla, MO; two brothers, Arthur Bell of Stantonville, TN, Lloyd Bell of Selmer, TN. A host of other relatives and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by a sister, Essie Frances Gray; three brothers, Gene Bell, Troy Bell, Lawrence Bell.
