She was born in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Charles Floyd and Ruby Louise Pusser Bickings. She attended schools in Chester and McNairy County and moved to Chicago at the age of 21. She was a loving mother and housewife. She enjoyed her grandchildren and enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by two daughters, Irene Frances Schoenke and Donna Schoenke both of Chicago, IL and a son, Edward Fredrick Schoenke of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Shirley Horn of Jackson, TN, Nancy Barham of Chicago, IL and Donna Slaughter of Jackson, TN; three brothers, Charles Bickings of Henderson, Jerry Bickings of Jackson and Donald Bickings of Henderson; three grandchildren, Jessica Martinez, Jacklyn Maldonado and Joshua Ortiz and two great grandchildren, Giovanni Frenandez and DeAngelio Frenandez.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Frances Bickings
