Irvin Plemon Pulley

Irvin Plemon Pulley, age 82, of Collinwood, TN passed away peacefully on July 28 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 26,1942, in Waynesboro, TN, to the late Andrew Jackson and Gladys Mae Minton Pulley. On March 8, 1974, Irvin was united in marriage to Martha Ann Thompson. Together they shared a beautiful journey filled with love and understanding. 

Irvin dedicated many years of his life to his service, Pulley's 66 gas & service station, before retiring. When not at work, Irvin enjoyed the company of his chickens, goats, and dogs. His love for nature drew him outdoors where he felt most at peace.

 He is survived by wife, Martha Thompson Pulley of Collinwood, TN; sons, Jeffery Wayne Holt of Collinwood, TN, and Anthony Keith Holt (Traci) of Kimberly, AL; daughter, April Pulley Carroll (Jeff) of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, Winston L. Pulley of Antioch, TN; sister, Juanita Pulley of Waynesboro, TN; grandchildren, Terra Barnett (Benji), Jessica Jones (Josh), Alyson Holt (Melissa), Hannah Holt, Erica Carroll Rogers (Clay), Aaron Greenwood, and Ethin Eddins; and great grandchildren, Braxton Littleton, Jaxon Lowe, Levi Rochell, Jasilyn Gresham, Kyndle Rochell, and Liam Rogers. 

 In addition to his parents, Irvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Ann Holt, and his brother, Curvin Pulley.

 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm service time at the Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Steven Turnbo officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pulley, Marty Pulley, Anthony Holt, Braxton Littleton, Jaxon Lowe, and Levi Rochell.
