Services for Iva Dean McClain will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Chapel in Waynesboro, with Jerry Mathis and Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in the Griggs Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.She was born February 28, 1932 in Hohenwald, Tennessee the daughter of the late John and Etta Mae Simpson Sharp. Mrs. McClain departed this life Saturday, December 26, 2009 at her home near Waynesboro at the age of 77 Years, 9 Months, 28 Days. In addition to her parents, Mrs McClain was preceded in death by her husband Arlie McClain; great-grandchild, Clarence Johnson; brothers, Burt and John Franklin Sharp; and sisters, Willie Mae Davis and Lou Dean Sharp. She was a retired housekeeper at Wayne County Nursing Home and Wayne Care Nursing Home.She is survived by five sons, Johnny Ary and wife Carolyn of Florence, AL, Paul Ary and wife Jo, James McClain, Lee McClain, and Billy McClain all of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Linda Ledlow and husband Gary of Waynesboro, TN; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren
