Iva Remillard

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Rufus and Ada Bailey Turner. She grew up in Hardin County and was married to Aud Ellis in 1937. Mr. Ellis died in 1968. She was employed by Salant & Salant Mfg. as a seamstress for 35 years and later worked for Chester County Manufacturing. She married Gerald Remillard in 2004. He died in 2008. She was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed growing flowers.



She is survived by a daughter, Sue Massengill and husband James of Henderson; two grandchildren, Phyllis Holder and Tracy Massengill; four great-grandchildren and a brother Raymond Turner of San Jose, CA.



She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Crowell and Tillie Thompson.
