Mr. J. C. Earnest of Middleton departed this life at the age of 84 Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at McNairy County Regional Hospital in Selmer.
A native of Hardeman County, he was born October 12, 1927 to the late Luther and Annie Pearl Earnest. He was united in marriage to Gracie Earnest who preceded him in death March 7, 2009 after 60 years of marriage. He retired from Thyssen-Krupp Elevators and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Middleton.
He leaves as his survivors two sons, Danny Martin Earnest and wife Tammy of Middleton and David Richard Earnest of Walnut, Mississippi; a brother, Aaron Earnest of Middleton; a sister, Dorris Allen of Middleton; two grandchildren, Wayne Earnest of Walnut, Mississippi and Jessie Buie of Senath, Missouri; and three great-grandchildren.
