J. L. Shinault, age 71, of Bolivar, departed this life Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Bolivar, he worked as a farmer. He was born March 21, 1947, son of the late John Lisbon Shinault and Alvie Melba Vincent Shinault and lived his entire life here. He enjoyed swimming in the creek, hiking in the woods and watching old westerns on television. Mr. Shinault was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Joyce Benthal of Jackson and Nedra McKee of Middleton; a brother, Gaylon Wayne Shinault; 8 nieces and nephews, Gail Horn, Tim Benthal, Tyrone McKee, Michelle Hopper, Angela Lambert, Daniel Shinault, Stephanie Morel and Nathan Shinault; and several great nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in his name may be made to Parrans Chapel Baptist Church.
