J Willard Ross

Willard Ross was born December 13, 1920 in Saltillo, Tennessee the son of the late James Thomas and Sarah Spencer Ross.Mr. Ross was united in marriage to Doris Yancey Ross on December 20, 1941 whom he was married to for 65 years. He was a retired self employed Insurance Agent and the 2nd oldest member of the First United Methodist Church of Adamsville, TN.Mr. Ross departed this life on July 15, 2007 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 7 Months, 2 Days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Ross is survived by, two daughters, Jo Karen Foy and husband David of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mary Lynn Barns and husband John R. of Kingsport, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Steve Foy, Debbie Mueller, Mike Foy, John R. Barns III and Meredith Barns; six great grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Olivia and John Ross Foy, Hannah Mueller and Nicklaus Barns; a nephew, Tommy Ross; four nieces, Susan Amos, Yancey Williams, Rebecca O'Neil and Lee Winters.In addition to his parents, Mr. Ross is preceded in death by, two sisters, Opal Ellington and Lou Poole and three brothers, Curtis, Kenneth and Cletis Ross.
