J. W. Stricklin was born October 20, 1936 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Seamon Henry and Ruby Mae Brown Stricklin.Mr. Stricklin had his own mowing service, he also cut timber and farmed.Mr. Stricklin departed this life on June 28, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 8 Months, 8 Days.He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Burleson of Lawrenceburg, TN; a brother, William Melvin Stricklin of Savannah, TN; a sister, Susie Franks of Olive Hill, TN; two grandchildren, A.J. and Alex .In addition to his parents, Mr. Stricklin was preceded in death by a brother, James Stricklin.
