Jack Ernest Dunn

Jack Ernest Dunn passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the home of his son in Pink Hill, North Carolina. Jack was born November 23, 1942 to the late Floyd “Jack” Dunn and Mary Edith Witte Dunn. He graduated from Memphis High School, Memphis, Missouri in 1960.Joined the Army in 1962. Basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri. MP training at Ft. Gordon in Georgia. Jump school training at Ft. Benning in Georgia. Stationed at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina in the 82nd Airborne. Honorably discharged in 1965.Jack is survived by one brother, C. D. Dunn and wife Betty of San Angelo, TX.Married to Edna Grady September 5, 1964. He is survived by two children, Jeffrey Alan Dunn and wife Hollie of Pink Hill, NC, and Jacqueline D. Bowman and husband Ray of Georgetown, TX. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Danny Roberts, Sarah Bowman of Georgetown TX, and Tyler Alan Dunn of Pink Hill, NC.Married to Peggy E. Dunn November 23, 1996. Peggy passed away September 26, 1999. He is survived by two step-children, Jennifer Applebury and husband David of Bartlett, TN and Melanie Green and husband John of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren, Brittany Applebury and Blake Green.
