JACK PETTY
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 29, 1945 the son of the late Tom Jackson and Hester McClain Petty.
Jack lived in Hardin County all of his life, where he did sawmill work, plumbing, small engine repair and electrical work. He enjoyed walking his dogs and sitting outside enjoying the weather.
Jack departed this life on May 4, 2016 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of of 70 years, 11 months and 5 days.
He is survived by his children, Daniel Petty and Thomas Petty, both of Savannah, Tennessee, Jackie Doyle of Crump, Tennessee and Angela Bates of Milan, Tennessee.
14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
his siblings, Mary Petty, Delemae Meyers, Tina McClain, Mike Petty, Ricky Petty and Billie Fay Ward, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Bob Petty of Corinth, Mississippi
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Buck and Jake Petty and one sister, Carolyn Petty.
