Jackie G. Humbert

Jackie G. Humbert departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Keystone Senior Community, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 4 Months, 8 Days. He was born January 9, 1944 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Charlie E. and Martha Deliah Skelton Humbert. He In addition to his parents, Mr. Humbert was preceded in death by brother, Charles Mack Humbert and 2 infant sisters.

Mr. Humbert was retired from Genesco/Texas Boot Manufacturing Company and was a member of the County Line Church of Christ, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

He is survived by sister-in-law, Virginia Smith Humbert and niece, Cathy Boyd both of Lawrenceburg, TN, great-niece, Tammy Prince, husband, David, great-great-nieces, Kayla & Caden Prince, great great nephew, Dominic Prince.

Services will be Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Johnny Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow in Whitehead Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2017, 5:00-8:00 pm and Saturday, May 20, 2017, 12:30 pm until service time at the funeral home.
