JACKIE MELTON
Jackie Walter Melton, 73 of Chicago, IL passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015 after a long illness.
Funeral services will be 1:00 Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel, with burial at Deanburg Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday.
He was born February 15, 1942 in Chester County, the son of Wilson Melton and Bertie Deming Melton.
He is survived by one brother, James Melton and wife Joan, their two daughters, Julie and Janice; sister, Rose Libner and husband Jack deceased and their two children Johnny and Roxanne; sister, Lillie (Marge) Melton and he two daughters, Sherry and Brandy; one niece, Kay Frost and one great niece and three great nephews all of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Youvone Frost and Sue Melton.
