Jackie Nutt Bowling

October 21, 1973 — January 9, 2025

Jackie Sue Nutt Bowling, a cherished mother, beloved grandmother, and devoted friend, passed away, surrounded by family and friends, on January 9, 2025, at the age of 51.

Jackie's career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at NHC Scott truly reflected her kind-hearted nature and unwavering commitment to serving others. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her work, always making sure that those in her care felt valued and loved. Her vocation was a manifestation of her desire to uplift those around her and represented her joyful spirit. Jackie left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jackie embraced her passion for gardening, discovering immense joy in nurturing the earth and crafting beautiful spaces around her. Whether she was carefully planting an array of vibrant flowers that danced in the breeze or diligently tending to her flourishing vegetable garden, she filled her surroundings with a rich tapestry of color and life. In addition to her gardening pursuits, Jackie cherished the quiet pleasure of diving into a good book, experimenting with canning her harvest, and delighting in the challenge of trying new recipes that brought the flavors of her garden to her table.

She leaves behind her three beloved children: Matthew Bowling of Brentwood, TN; Chris Bowling of Lawrenceburg, TN; and Lydia Bowling of Lawrenceburg, TN, who will carry on her legacy. Jackie's joy was amplified in her role as Grammy Sue to her five grandchildren: Benjamin, Gabriella, Paisley, Carson, and Phebie. She treasured every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

Jackie is lovingly remembered by her father, James Allen Nutt, of Waynesboro, TN, as well as by her devoted siblings: Jamie Nutt of Lawrenceburg, TN, Billy Nutt, of Waynesboro, TN, Bobby Nutt of Mt. Pleasant, TN, and the many friends she made over the 17 years at NHC Scott.

In addition to her family and friends, Jackie held a special place in the heart of her acquaintance, Kenneth Green of Lawrenceburg, TN with whom she shared countless unforgettable moments.

Jackie is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara A. Nutt, as well as her previous husband, Jimmy Lane Bowling.

As we bid farewell to Jackie Bowling, let us remember and honor the impact she had on our lives. May her soul rest in internal peace and may the memories we shared bring comfort during this difficult time.
