JAKE MCLIN
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 22, 1927 the son of the late James Carl and Flora Bell Hill McLin.
On November 4, 1992 he was united in marriage to Betty Glissen, who preceded her husband in death on August 25, 2011.
Mr. McLin was a retired timber cutter. He was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. McLin loved to listen to gospel music. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and neighbors. He also enjoyed watching his friends on Channel 18.
Mr. McLin departed this life on November 7, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years and 16 days.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Helen Beckham of Savannah, Tennessee and Jane DeShazier of Savannah, Tennessee
4 sons, Kenny McLin of Olive Hill, Tennessee, Tony McLin of Savannah, Tennessee, Billy McLin of Savannah, Tennessee and Danny McLin of Collinwood, Tennessee

3 sisters, Sue Bryant of Adamsville, Tennessee, Blanche Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee and Emma Brown of Sarasota, Florida
In addition to his parents and his wife Betty, he was also preceded in death by his companion, Jewel Baker, his wife and mother of his children, Dorothy McLin, one son, Jim McLin, one daughter-in-law, Tammy McLin, 2 brothers, Dick McLin and Pete McLin and 3 sisters, Nan Grimes, Ollie Smith and Verna Turnbo
