James (Jimmy) Wilson Bills, of Savannah passed away Sunday September 9, 2018 at the age of 56.
Jimmy was born November 20, 1961 in Humboldt, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Robert Wilson Bills and Lois Marie Bills. Jimmy was united in marriage to Elise Arlene Brannon on July 16, 1983.
He moved to Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 15 and later began his career in the tire and automotive industry. In 1991, he moved his family to Savannah and was the proud co-owner of Quality Tire with his father, Robert, for 12 years. He has since worked in various fields with the last being the owner of Savannah Buildings.
Jimmy loved his family without a doubt but adored his grandbabies by which he was known as Pops. He loved life and enjoyed every second of it, never met a stranger, and could tell stories like no one else. He loved talking football and playing golf with his boys. His caring and giving gift included being the neighborhood go-to-man and mentor. He will leave footprints in our hearts and we will never, ever be the same.
He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
