James Roger Blanton

James Roger Blanton was born April 25, 1942 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late James Oliver and Irine West Blanton.On February 27, 1999, he was united in marriage to Mary Zilphia Blanton. Mr. Blanton was a Truck Driver and a member of the Pleasant Site Baptist Church in Selmer.He departed this life on August 21, 2006 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 64 Years, 3 Months, 27 Days. Mr. Blanton is survived by his wife, Mary Zilphia Blanton of Selmer, Tennessee; two sons, Roger Blanton of Selmer, Mike Blanton of Bushnell, Florida; two stepsons, David Donahoe of Memphis, Tennessee and William Keith Donahoe of Selmer; one sister, Ladonna Reach of Fairfield, Ohio and four grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Blanton was preceded in death by two stepdaughters, Mary Faye Ventrini and Billie Kaye Baker.
