James David Bridges

James David Bridges, Sr. was born in Morris Chapel, Tennessee on June 11, 1949, the son of the late Joel A. Bridges and Melissa C. Massey Price. On November 20, 1971, she was united in marriage to Carolyn Ann Russell. James departed this life on October 24, 2017, at the age of 68 years, 4 months, and 13 days.

James attended First Assembly of God in Savannah, Tennessee. Before residing in Savannah, Tennessee, he lived in Aurora, Illinois. James loved rebuilding computers, fishing, metal detecting, traveling, and going on vacation. He also loved his dog Scooby.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughters, Melissa Yarbrough of Bethel Springs, Tennessee and Donna Lyn Stufflebeam and husband Ralph of Savannah, Tennesee; son. James David Bridges, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Jane of Adamsville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Audrey J. Russell; grandchildren. Austin Reed, Melody Woodruff, Jeffery Reed, Michael Levi Woodruff, Catherine Reed, Gracie Woodruff, and Swaylynn Stufflebeam; nephew, Jackie Lee Evans, Jr.; and an uncle, Coy Massey.
