James Robert Caraway was born on March 15, 1952 in Los Angeles, California, the son of the late Bobby and Eileen Royle Caraway.
On March 30, 1998, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Ann Grissom, who survives.
Mr. Caraway proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a painter and foreman for Sherwin-Williams and was a member of Grace Sanctuary in Savannah, Tennessee. He enjoyed drawing, painting, playing chess, and reading, especially his Bible. He loved the time he spent with his family and cherished his wife, daughter, and granddaughter.
James Robert Caraway departed this life on September 2, 2021 at the age of 69 years, 5 months, and 18 days.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kathleen Ann Grissom Caraway of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Christie Ranae Caraway of Savannah, Tennessee; granddaughter, Catarina Graceann Caraway; and sister, Linda Caraway of Colorado.
