James Carl Williams passed away on January 19, 2026, in Collinwood, TN, at the age of 78.Jim was born in Michigan on February 1, 1947, to the late Grant and Stella Williams. His younger sister, Shirley Loughney also preceded him in death.

Jim is survived by three brothers and three sisters, Ted and Martha Williams, Tom and Cyndy Williams, Mike and Lori Williams. Jane and Paul Field, Roberta and Dave Metcalf, and Shelley and Kirk Diment.

Jim moved to Florida, where he met Eva Drake and they married in 1977. In 1987, they moved to Collinwood, Tennessee, with their 4 young children, where they were surrounded by wonderful neighbors, and they became a part of the Shawnettee Church family. Jim’s relationship with God through Jesus was very important to him. Jim and Eva have had the most wonderful, loving marriage, and he was a great father.

Jim had worked in Hardin County, for the state of Tennessee, as an Environmental Specialist.Jim is also survived by his wife, Eva, and four children, Michelle and Eddie Krieger, Rachael and Michael Lowery, Nathan and Holly Williams with their three children Ava, Layla, and Brayden, and Daniel and Lauren Williams.

Jim is now in heaven and we look forward to seeing him again.
