James F. Choate

James F. Choate was born August 3, 1937 in Marked Tree, Arkansas the son of the late Clarence Leo and Louise Doty Choate.He was united in marriage to Betty Wallin on June 24, 1958.Mr. Choate worked as a pipefitter, in the woodyard and then as maintenance supervisor for the Packaging Corporation of America in Counce, TN, he retired after 35 years.Mr. Choate departed this life on May 7, 2011 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 73 Years, 9 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty Choate of Michie, TN; two sons, Brian K. Choate and wife Cynthia of Michie, TN, David Choate and wife Kellie of Humble, TX; a sister, Cathy Birchfield and husband Terry of Weir, MS; six grandchildren, Kristen Jobe, Jonathan Jobe, Brandon James Choate and wife Fahren, Joshua Choate, Alex Choate, and Paige Choate; a great-grandchild, Anniston Choate; host of extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Choate was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Garey,and Kay Hodges.
