James W. "Jimmy Sarge" Cobb

James W. "Jimmy Sarge" Cobb was born July 20, 1944 in Bethel Springs, TN, the son of the late James D. "Dan" and Ora Lee Forsyth Cobb.

Mr. Cobb was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

He departed this life on July 5, 2014 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 11 Months, 15 Days.

Mr. Cobb is survived by a daughter, Alice F. Campos and husband Ray; step daughters, Rita J. Goodman and Gwendolyn Britton; a step son, Robert L Gage and wife Chris; a sister, Alice E. Brown; a brother, David A. Cobb; four grandchildren, Brooke Mullins and husband Brian, Brandon Campos and wife Tabitha, Ryan Campos and wife Vianney, and Nikolas Campos; seven step grandchildren, James Lott, Marshall Lott and wife Kirston, Bobby Burton, Becky Basham and husband Reggie, Cody Gage and wife Kaitlen, Logan Gage, Trenton Gage; a grt-grandchild, Aiden Campos; 9 step great grandchildren; nieces, Betty Hicks and Florance Mitchell; nephews, Johnny Plunk and Donald Mitchell.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by a son, Jerry T. Wallace; four sisters, Annie L. York, Pauline E. Head, Bernice L. Faulkner, Etta Mae Faulkner and a brother, Billy W. Cobb.
