His wonderful wife, Faye, of 54 years was the love of his life. He loved his children, Tuffy and Angie, beyond the call of duty. His son-in-law, Bill, was the help he needed when he needed it. His grandchildren, Jamie and wife, Somer, Nathan, and Trevin, were the apples of his eyes. His great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Sawyer, and Presley, caused him to smile and laugh even though he was too sick to play with them. Jimmy was an outdoorsman because he loved gardening, yardwork, and tinkering in his shop. He loved fishing and camping with his whole family during the summer as well as in the winter (just ask Jamie). When his brother, Coleman, came over, they spent hours telling war stories because both were military men serving in the United States Airforce. Jimmy loved his life and his country. Jimmy was from a large family with seven brothers and six sisters. He was the oldest son of Bro. Willie and Mrs. Madgie, and he was proud of it. Jimmy felt very fortunate to have had loving in-laws, Jab and Frances Berry. He respected and loved them as his own. Jimmie Lou and Jimmy, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, became his family as well as his friends.
