James Bell Hall was born October 20, 1927 in Lexington, TN the son of the late Jimmy D. and Allene Bell Hall.
He was united in marriage to Jean Robison on June 16, 1951.
Mr. Hall was a graduate of Lexington High School. He was employed for 26 years as a postal clerk with the Adamsville Post Office, and was a faithful member of the Adamsville church of Christ, where he taught Bible classes and served 22 years as an Elder. Mr. Hall volunteered as a Scoutmaster for Adamsville Troop 234, Boy Scouts of America, and served his State and Nation as a member of the Tennessee National Guard for 10 years. He loved vegetable gardening and woodworking and could make any piece of furniture desired, but his favorite activity was visiting with people and spending time with his beloved family.
Mr. Hall departed this life on October 26, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 6 Days. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jean (Robison) Hall of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Melissa (Hall) Seaton and husband Tim of Adamsville, TN; a son, James Alan Hall of Adamsville, TN; two grandchildren, Amanda (Hall) Holloway and husband Paxton and Jamie (Hall) White and husband Jeremy; six great-grandchildren: Jillian White, Addison White, Evan White, Jaxon White, Knox Holloway, Eli Holloway; a sister, Betty Carol Hall of Oxford, MS; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jon Mark Ivy.
