James Douglas Haynes

James Douglas Haynes

was born in Bedford County, Tennessee on February 12, 1942 the son of the late James Huston and Ruby Gladys Wright Haynes.

He was united in marriage to Nancy F. Roe, who preceded her husband in death on May 10, 2002.

James was a retired self employed truck driver and traveled all over the United States for over 25 years.

He departed this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 7 months, and 12 days.

James is survived by his stepdaughter, Margaret Holloway and her husband Scott of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; grandchildren, Meghan Holloway McAbee and her husband Kevin of Northport, Alabama, and Samantha Northcutt Correro and her husband Jon of Cleveland, Mississippi; great grandchildren, David Scott McAbee and Gabrielle Grace McAbee, both of Northport, Alabama, Steven Northcutt of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Peyton Correro of Cleveland, Mississippi; and his sister, Peggy Jordan and her husband Randy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Chronicles Elton Northcutt, Jr.; grandchild, Joshua Elton Northcutt; and brother, Clifford Huston Haynes.
