James Kenneth Hill

James Kenneth Hill was born January 19, 1949 in Bolivar, TN the son of Virginia Ann Huckabee Burton and the late James Grady Hill.

Mr. Hill was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army. In his 20 year career, he served in the Vietnam War, Germany, Honduras, and was a recruiter in {Parkersburg, WVA. He received several citations, ribbons and medals, including the Meritorious Service Medal. After his retirement from the Army, he started his Engineering career in commercial construction of skyscrapers and office buildings.

Mr. Hill departed this life on October 20, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 9 Months, 1 Day. He is survived by his mother, Ann Burton of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Stephanie Hatfield of Booneville, MS; a son, Kenny Hill of Booneville, MS; three grandchildren, Lily, Evan, and Jessie; a sister, Nancy McClain of Selmer, TN; a brother, David Hill and wife Judy of Pensacola, FL..
