James Homer Hodge

JAMES HOMER HODGEwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 16, 1936, the son of the late James Homer and Myrtle Handley Hodge.He married the former Mary Jo Walker who preceded him in death on October 21, 1997.James Homer was a member of the Second Baptist Church. He was a retired Grocer and liked working with cattle. Mr. Hodge was a Navy Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.He departed from this life February 13, 2010 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 years and 28 days.He leaves 2 grandchildren - Patrick Landreth and Mindy Causpin.1 sister - Annie Jean Harrison of Savannah, Tennessee2 step daughters - Mary Beth Henry of Ohio and Janice Walker of Clifton, Tennessee.He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Landreth, one brother Joe Payton Hodge, and 3 sisters, Katherine Williams, Virginia Shutt, and Robbie House.
