JAMES WAYNE HOLMES

Henderson, TN: James Wayne Holmes age 62 passed away April 11, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 1, 1955 in Chester County, the son of J.D. Holmes and the late Ida Maxine Roark Holmes Smith. He attended Chester County Schools. He moved to Arizona and went into Areospace Industry. He moved back to Chester County in 1984 and worked in local machine shops. In 1998 he opened Holmes Industrial Technology Company, Inc., and was owner and operator.

He enjoyed gunsmithing, fishing, boating and spending time with his grandchildren, friends and family.

He was a member of the Henderson Masonic Lodge # 485 and had served as Master of the Lodge.

Mr. Holmes is survived by a daughter, Sara Holmes Crouse of Henderson; two grandchildren, Tate Walker Crouse and Anna Leigh Crouse; his father, J.D. Holmes and a sister, Dovie Marie Simpson of Henderson.

Masonic services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors - Crook Avenue Chapel with Nathan Wright officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday.
