James T. Hopper

James T. Hopper was born on January 2, 1942 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Arlie and Eula Powell Hopper.On December 20, 1964, Mr. Hopper was united in marriage to the former, E. Faye Rainey, who preceded her husband in death on October 22, 2005.Mr. Hopper was a retired production worker with the Henry I. Siegal Company in Saltillo, Tennessee. A devoted public servant, he had been previously elected to the Hardin County Commission and the City of Saltillo board of Alderman. Mr. Hopper was also a City of Saltillo volunteer firefighter.Mr. Hopper departed this life on December 12, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 10 days.Other than his parents and wife, Mr. Hopper was also preceded in death by one stepson, Jerry Russell.Mr. Hopper is survived by one grandson, Michael Russell of Jackson, Tennessee and two great-grandsons, Preston and Carlisle Russell both of Jackson.
