James Paul Horton

James Paul Horton was born October 4, 1944 in Lutts, Tennessee the son of the late Arch and Goldie Victory Horton. Mr. Horton died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 69 Years, 8 Months, 15 Days. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Cromwell Crossroads Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Tonya Nix of West Memphis, AR, three grandchildren, Wesley Norvell, Justin Nix, and Kelsey Nix, two great grandchildren, Stiles Nix and Leighton Hammond, two sisters, Mildred Robbins and Joyce Skelton both of Collinwood, TN, two brothers, Wendell Horton and David Horton both of Collinwood, TN.

Services will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and Earl Rich officiating. Burial will follow in the Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery near Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
