James Herbert Hurst was born March 18, 1924, in McNairy County, Tennessee; he died July 27, 2010, at his home. Mr. Hurst is survivied by his wife, Mary Evelyn Medford Hurst; his son, Blakely Baynes Hurst; his daughter-in-law, Su-Ann Lee; and his grandson, Benjamin James Hurst. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Hurst Moore.Preceding him in death were his parents, Quinn and Mary Ann Turner Hurst, and his sister, Helen Juanita Hurst.
