James Barton "Bart" Jones

James Barton (Bart) Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN was born December 3, 1959 in Savannah, TN, the son of Sarah Alice Kimbell Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN, who survives and the late James Frank Jones.

Mr. Jones was an electrician and of the Protestant faith. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 9 Months, 19 Days.

Other than his mother, Sarah Alice Jones, he is survived by a sister, Karen Busby of Lawrenceburg, TN; nephews, Franklin Hughes and wife, Amelia and Garrett Hughes and wife, Kasey; niece, Kaitlin Busby; great-nephews, Liam and Lain Hughes, a great-niece on the way in January, 2021 and of course, his beloved pets, his dogs, Lady, Buck and Gypsy.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1 pm at Shield Cemetery in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Casey Jones, Mike Maples and John Gough officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Jamie Lynn, Rob Floyd, Brent Jones, Gene Maples, Jay Glover, Randall Jones, Kyle Jones and Jeff Jones.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN.
