James Frank Jones

James Frank Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN was born September 20, 1936 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late C.E. (Rooster) and Opal Aileen Cole Jones. He was united in marriage to Sarah Alice Kimbell on January 11, 1959. Mr. Jones was a electrician, having worked with TVA and TVEC, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, was a United States Army veteran and was a member of the Christian Church.

Mr. Jones departed this life Friday, May 19, 2017 at NHC, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 7 Months, 29 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Alice Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN; a son, Bart Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN; a daughter, Karen Hughes Busby of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Franklin Hughes and wife, Amelia, Garrett Hughes and wife, Kasey and Kaitlin Busby; brothers, Roy, Robert , Jerry, Randall and Brent Jones and sisters, Betty Melson, Margaret Devers and Debbie Lineberry all of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie, Jackie and Irvin Jones; sisters, sisters, Margie Maples, Joyce Kelley and CLara FLoyd and step-mother, Marie Jones.

Services will be Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with W. L. Wallace officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Danny Moore, Allen White, Dan Creecy, Rob Floyd, Greg Floyd and Brandon Floyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Jewel Sanders, John Gallian, Kenneth Davis, Carl Griggs, Virgil White, Edward Combs and Harold Buck.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
