James Harold Lawler

James Harold Lawler was born April 13, 1915 in Huron, TN the son of the late Lewis Arthur Lawler and Myrtle Johnson Lawler. He attended the Russell Crossroads School in Huron and later worked for GM Aircraft and later Lockheed Martin. He has lived in Ohio, Texas,Tennessee and most recently in Woodstock Ga.He was united in marriage to Rachel Mae Jones on December 23, 1933, she preceded him in death on September 2, 1976. He was latter married to Martha Virginia Edwards who survives. Mr Lawler was a member of the First Baptist Church in McAllan Tx.



In addtion to his wife he is survived by two daughters;Frances Fowler,Statesville NC; Betty Jean Millsapp Acworth Ga; one son Robert Charles Lawler, Marrietta Ga; one brother Leonard Lawler of Memphis, Tn. seven grandchildren;sixteen great granchildren, and five great great grandchildren.



In addition to his parents and first wife he was preceded in death by a daughter; Barbara Verhulst, three sisters Exie and Ruby Lawler and Mary Smith; two brothers Herbert and Nelson Lawler.



Services will be held on September 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Johnson Chapel in Henderson, Tennessee, with Bro. Ronnie Sells officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Baptist Cemetery at Beech Bluff, Tennessee
