Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with David Skipworth and Danny Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery , Iron City, Tennessee
with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 13th. 4:00-9:00 pm and on Saturday, May 14th. 11:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
Mr. Long departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2011at his residence in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 3 Months, 2 Days. He was born February 10, 1940 in Wayne County, Tennessee the son of the late Jesse Frank and Lola Mae Kilburn Long.In addition to his parents, Mr. Long was preceded in death by brothers; Floyd Long and Earl Long.
Mr. Long worked at Murray Ohio for 42 years.
He was united in marriage to Ella Ruth Lee on July 23, 1960.
He is survived by his wife Ella Ruth (Lee) Long of Lawrenceburg, TN;
daughter, Delicia Parish and husband Harry of Portland, TN; grandchildren; Ashley and Laura Parish; brother, Frank Long of Lawrenceburg, TN; sisters, Evelyn Gassett of Chaffee, MO, Dot Brewer ,Carolyn Berry , Reba Holt, Debra Brewer and Lois Weaver all of Collinwood, TN;
with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
