James Lindsey Massey

He was born and reared in Finger, TN the son of the late Obry and Vivian Patterson Massey. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1939. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and was stationed in Smyrna Air Force Base (near Nashville). He was owner of Massey Radio TV Sales and Service in Nashville. After retirement he moved to Henderson. He was married to Dorothy Hearn Barnes in 1984. He attended First United Methodist Church.



Mr. Massey is survived by his wife, Dorothy Massey; a stepdaughter, Janice and husband Carlos Schmitt all of Henderson; a step granddaughter, Carla and husband Mike Schmitt; a step great-grandson, Keegan Schmitt all of Flowery Branch, GA; two sisters, Doris Massey Jester and husband Mack of Memphis and Florine Massey Cherry of Henderson and a brother, Don Massey of Nashville.
