James McCasland

JAMES MCCASLANDwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 21, 1939 the son of the late William Paul McCasland and Allie Pipes Jones.On April 27, 1970 he was united in marriage to the former Willie Lorraine Bevill, who survives.Mr. McCasland was a United States Army Veteran. He worked in law enforcement before he became disabled.Mr. McCasland loved fishing, hunting, Nascar and watching Atlanta Braves.He departed this life on August 17, 2007 at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years and 27 days.Other than his wife, Lorraine, he is survived 3 daughters, Dawn Brown of Paris, Tennessee, Adreane Crockett of Tomball, Texas and Tonia Franks of Michie, Tennessee.2 sons, Jesse Wright of Michie, Tennessee and James McCasland of Tupelo, Mississippi.6 grandchildren, Austin McCasland, Emily McCasland, Savana Brown, Ciara Crockett, Aspen Crockett and Shanna Franks.3 sisters, Pauline Brawley of Mariposa, California, Mary Peyton of Hawkinsville, Georgia and Kathy Mitchell of Blytheville, Arkansas2 brothers, George McCasland of The Dalles, Oregon and Frankie Jones of Cartersville, Georgia.Mr. McCasland was also preceded in death by his step-father, Wilbur Jones and one sister, Betty Jones.
