James Russell McClain

James Russell McClain of Waynesboro was born March 25, 1959 in Hohenwald, TN the son of the late Arley O'Dell and Iva Dean Sharp McClain and grandson of the late John and Ella Mae Sharp and Russell and Mary McClain. Mr. McClain died Monday, May 5, 2014 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 55 Years, 1 Month, 10 Days. He was formerly employed at Wayne County Solid Waste, a logger, and truck driver.

He is survived by a daughter, Jessca Leigh Smith of Hohenwald, TN, four brothers, Paul Ary and Johnny Ary both of Waynesboro, TN, Lee McClain of Killen, AL, and Billy (Dummy) McClain of Waynesboro, TN, a sister, Linda Ledlow of Waynesboro, TN, five grandchildren, Carter, Casey, Cayden, Zayden, and Ethan.

Services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Griggs Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
