Mr. James Earl "Jim" McKee of Middleton departed this life at the
age of 74 years Monday evening, November 19, 2012 at Bolivar
General Hospital.
A native of Hardeman County, Mr. McKee was born December 4,
1937 tot he late Lawrence Edward and Nannie Earl Bryant McKee.
As a young man, he worked in farming and attended Hebron Baptist
Church. He served his country in the United States Army from 1961
to 1963 and was stationed in Germany. On July 26, 1975, he was
united in marriage to Sadie Head, who survives. Later, he worked for
Harmon Automotive, reitiring after 34 years, and in the last few
years of his life, he was affiliated with Brints Chapel Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amanda Dell
Warren and husband Marty of Cedar Grove; three brothers, Burton
Elbert McKee of Middleton, William E. McKee of Middleton and
Thomas Everett McKee of Jackson; one grandchild, Zachary Lemly
Warren of Horn Lake, Mississippi; and twelve nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Daisy Eulaine
Cox.
