James William Milburn

James William (Big Jim) Milburn of Waynesboro, TN was born July 18, 1945 in Louisville, KY the son of the late Kirby Donald and Margaret Elaine Frever Milburn. Mr. Milburn departed this life on April 27, 2016 Waynesboro Health and Rehabilition Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 9 Months, 9 Days. In addition to his parents, Mr. Milburn was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Milburn and a son, Christopher Michael Milburn. He was a long haul truck driver. Jim was a Sunday school teacher at the Chuch of God in New Buffalo, Michigan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, football, and fishing December 21, 2001 he was married to Joyce Walden Milburn.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Walden Milburn of Waynesboro, TN, a son, James Kirby Milburn of Arvada, Colorado, three daughters, Lisa Elaine Milburn of Arvada, Colorado, Christine Tilley of Collinwood, TN, and Michelle Keasling of Waynesboro, TN, a brother, Donald Bruce Milburn of Saginaw, Michigan, and a sister, Alice Beiou of West Virginia, 14 grandchildren, Melody Ruth Milburn, Nicole, Brian, and Xavier Willford, Tristin and Trenidy Bey, Christopher, Justin, and Cameron Tilley, Ashton, Austin, Katerina, Zaceriah, and Isiaha Keasling, and great grandchild, Jessie Whitfield.

Services will be held Monday, May 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in at Waynesboro with Chad Balentine officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 2, 2016 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. At his request he was cremated.
