Henderson, TN: James Thomas ” Jim “ Moore age 62, passed away Wednesday morning March 12, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born August 21, 1951 in Henderson County and grew up in South Jackson, the son of the late James Edward and Margie Marie Tims Moore. He attended Beech Bluff High School. He worked as a truck driver and also drove for Trailways Bus Lines. He worked for Jim Miles Oldsmobile/Cadillac/Honda as a salesman. He married Glenda Pusser Snider in 1991 and they made their home at Henderson. Mr. More was a member of the Liberty Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Moore is survived by, two daughters, Christy Trevathan of Gleason, TN and Kimberly Malone and husband Drew of Indian Land, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Amanda Kilzer and husband Troy of Henderson and a stepson, Jeremy Snider and wife Lesa of Henderson; six grandchildren; two sisters, Billie Taylor of Henderson County and Betty Collins of Henderson County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Glenda Snider Moore and two sisters, Sue Britt and Shirley Coble.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Troy Kilzer officiating and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
