James Odis Moore was born September 4, 1921 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee the son of the late Wes and Minnie Lou Whitten Moore.He was united in marriage to Virginia Larue Hurst on October 25, 1941. Mrs. Moore preceded him in death on July 28, 2009.Mr. Moore was a electrician for 38 years at Brown Shoe Company. He was a member and a deacon of the Little Hatchie Primitive Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening.Mr. Moore departed this life on October 15, 2010 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 1 Month, 11 Days. He is survived by a son, James Allen (Toby) Moore and wife Pat of Ramer, TN; four daughters, Linda Cone and husband Bill of Finger, TN, Nina King and husband Carroll of Pocahontas, TN, Sequoia Hively of Selmer, TN, Wilma Lou Kinniburg of Selmer, TN; three sisters, Margie Goodrum of Bethel Springs, TN, Virginia Davidson of Batavia, IA, Betty Ingram of Selmer, TN; a brother, Arthur Moore of Benton , AR; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy June Moore; a grandson, Jeffery Dale King; three sisters, Myrtle Hall, Annelle Jolly, Pauline Moore; two brothers, Curtis Moore, Thurman Moore.
